In the summer of 2007, ASA Entertainment, a leading producer of action sports events worldwide contracted Leader Enterprises to execute public relations efforts for the 2007 Action Sports World Tour.

Service

Leader pitched events in four separate markets including Phoenix, Dallas, Pomona and San Diego. Leader worked to generate in-market buzz around each of the events through special events, athlete features, morning show appearances, ticket giveaways and more.

Leader also created opportunities for key sponsors to be mentioned in media coverage. Warner Brothers, a major sponsor for the San Diego Event, said the Super Girl event featured some of the strongest coverage they have received as part of their Super Girl initiative that crosses a number of entertainment genres.

Success

The program amassed more than six million media impressions and more than $600,000 in advertising equivalency.

Included in those covering the events were major television outlets and daily newspapers in each city, with coverage across all areas of the media - from sports reporters to music and entertainment reporters in both the English and Spanish-speaking media.
