Solution
AirPlay Direct is a virtual grand central station for artists, record labels and radio stations. Leader was tasked with implementing a new design, enhancing their digital press kits, and creating “music calls” for venues to seek musicians. A radio programmer “bundled music download system” was also needed to provide a solution for radio stations to easily download music files from multiple artists.
Service
Leader created a sleek new system and integrated the 3rd party app, Jam Room, all inside of one design. Other 3rd party implementations were Word Press for AirPlay’s blog, Open X for ad management, Fusion Charts for robust reporting, and the Zen Desk trouble ticket system.
Success
AirPlay Direct continues to serve tens of thousands of users, but now with a more enhanced and streamlined experience. Bands can now submit their Digital Press Kit’s in response to “music calls” from venues, and radio stations now have access to a proprietary artist search and music download system.
